Other Nocode environment

Puzzled and “mixed feelings”

As I enter my 5th year of bubble development, I am starting to wonder if it is the right tool.
Let me explain.
We all received numerous communications to the effect that bubble is “going mobile”.

So, I jumped in, with both feet.

However, I soon realized that the learning curve was quite steep. I am not a quitter, so I learned, fixed things, redid design and nocoding approaches as it is normal in App design and development.

My App does not work. There are many, many bugs with Bubble Go, my Android version does not work properly in many areas, the iPhone version is a little bit better but not fully functional ,etc…

Bubble is telling me that "engineers will soon be looking into it. However, bubble also informs me that they are short staffed, so thanks to be patient.

I am generally patient, but I think I am reaching the end of that patience. I need to get my business partners to be able to test my App as soon as possible.

I feel I have been a “guinee pig”, working for bubble, testing their mobile Editor and publisher. What’s in it for me? I am not sure anymore.

So, do I have a choice of waiting or not? I have invested so much time , it’s hard to say if I can find another nocode solution that will get me to aVP soon.

Does anyone have similar roadblocks with bubble and are there other solutions out there ?

Thanks.

It’s a Beta. That’s literally what you do when you participate in one. You’re testing an unfinished product.

The point is to be an active participant in the development of the product by using it and then giving feedback and reporting bugs so that the product team can fix and improve the product.

You shouldn’t be trying to build a business (for you or clients) that relies on a Beta version. Period.

What you should be asking is, do you really need a native app version of your MVP?
If a web app can achieve the goals that you want to achieve then why not just a Bubble web app first?

Web apps are responsive and you can always use a wrapper if you really need to.

An MVP just needs to prove that your business model works. Without the fluff.

I get that, thanks.
I do know what Beta is.
Bubble has talked about getting out of bubble native beta a long time ago.

Cheers,
G

This says otherwise.
