PDF Generation Error

Anyone else experiencing errors with PDF plugins? PDFs generated using several plugins, including Zeroqode one, are showing the elements on the page all scrunched up. Started happening suddenly without any app or plugin updates, out of the blue. Presume these plugins use the same framework which is having problems after some behind the scene updates / either Bubble or the framework itself. I have reported to plugin developers and Bubble.

Hello, @kenlaji.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience with the plugin. We are acknowledged of this issue and currently investigating it. Once there are any changes - we let you know. :pray:

Hi @kenlaji,

Thank you so much for your patience. :pray:t2:

We’ve updated the plugin and adapted it to the recent Bubble changes. Kindly ask you to upgrade your plugin to the latest version (1.64.0.) and give it a try.

Have a great day!

Best regards,
Zeroqode Support Team

Thank you - things are back to normal. Was this caused by a breaking change within bubble? If yes was there any notification?

@kenlaji ,

Zeroqode team was not notified, unfortunately. And, as per the users talks, issues with our plugin (and a few other plugins on the Bubble marketplace) happened right after Bubble pushed an update Zeroqode HTML Element to PDF Server Side - Bugs - Bubble Forum

Now everything is fine. :slightly_smiling_face:

Interesting backstory: because we are providing COVID testing process automation we are generating barcode PDFs at the time of sample collection. When our sample collectors are busy they are generating labels every 5 minutes or so. This means we had a detailed time record of when our barcode PDFs went from rendering correctly to no longer rendering. We spotted the transition right around 12:30PM MST of that day. Pretty cool!

This is disappoining. Our Bubble updates are on scheduled release and there was no warning this was happening. Bubble support team kept sending patronising ‘we can’t deal with plugin errors…’ messages repeatedly.

@josh I would be most grateful if you could check what happened here.
