It seems that the youtube plugin doesn’t work, if placed in a common element. It doesn’t load the video.

Hello @quantumind

Can you provide more details, like screenshots of your design/workflow setup, steps to reproduce the issue, console.logs etc so we could help you better?
Thanks for understanding.

Hi @levon,
is this done with mediaelements.js? Because I look for some integration / plugin for media elements

Hi @chrisstrobl,

Thanks for reaching out. Our plugin is using Plyr.io which is a simple, lightweight, accessible and customizable library with HTML5, YouTube and Vimeo media player that supports modern browsers. You can find more plugin information here.

Thanks a lot for this plugin @ZeroqodeSupport, works really well!

Any chance to add the possibility to customize the color of the player’s buttons? That light blue doesn’t work really well with my app’s branding.

Nb: small tip for those who want to link a video file hosted in Dropbox: add the &raw=1 url parameter to the file URL

Hello, @Lucien

Thanks for feedback and kind words! We’ve taken into consideration your feedback, we’ll see how feasible it is to be added for next updates if possible.

Thanks for understanding

To add to your request, believe you could try and target the player element with CSS using HTML element on page.
Hope this helps.

Actually, this plugin doesn’t work for my use case as I need to change the URL dynamically, and it seems that only the Vimeo one allows for that (the BubbleVideo element and the YoutubVideo element only seem to take the url they get on page load). Your other plugin is more flexible in that regards.

I’m facing a problem regarding the responsiveness of the element.
The video aspect ratio always resize properly, but the element(s) that contains the player doesn’t follow the height, which creates a huge gap on mobile versions.

I really can’t tell if is a plugin’s issue or Bubble’s architecture issue.
There are so many elements with fixed height and that makes impossible to target them via CSS (as it looks like I can’t add an ID to them all).

Any thoughts on this?

Hi @falecom, thanks for reaching out.

Allow us to analyze the issue and check on our side for any possible solution.
We will come back in due course.

Hope you don’t mind if we continue our conversation here:

Dear users,
Our developer team has made an update to the plugin, which added a new option to stretch the player to the parent group (in order to avoid the gap between elements in mobile view).

Please upgrade the plugin to the latest version (1.13.0 - Added new option to stretch player to the parent group), refresh the application, and give it a try.

Also, see the supporting documentation for reference: https://docs.zeroqode.com/plugins/zeroqode-video-player-plyr-plugin#changelogs

@ZeroqodeSupport Hi! I bought this plugin and I have a few questions. I need to change the color of the buttons and the strip, this problem was described above, but there was no solution. You are a cool team, you have developers for whom it is a matter of a few minutes. Please do it!

The second question. In order to play videos from youtube, vimeo or bubble, do I have to add all 3 players and prescribe conditions for their display? This is not very convenient. I wanted there to be one player and he himself determined the type, and not I prescribed them. I believe that it is also easy for you to do this))
I think that the community of no-coders should help each other, especially with plugins. You guys are one of the most experienced in this business and take money for it. Support your paid plugins to the end, or make the old plugins free.
I hope you will hear me) Thank you)

Hi @mszaxaroff, thank you for your message.

In regards to the strip and play button, unfortunately, the plugin does not have such a feature by default. Our dev team will check if this feature is present in the plugin library and see how feasible it will be to add it in the future plugin update.

As for the second question, unfortunately, this is the current design of the plugin and it can’t be changed.

Thank you for your feedback! Have a good day!
