Thanks! I removed the link. Let’s vote using the poll from your comment.

I think there should be more nuanced options in the poll.

In my view new workflow editor is in right direction, but has not thought UX well. And that it has been forced upon everyone in spite of people giving feedback and asking to not roll it out.

I just got back from vacation to realize my world had been turned upside down… One thing I’ve loved about bubble, thus far has been is how visually - digestible it is / was. Hey @bubble you need to realize that many/most of your customers are not your typical left-brained linear thinking types. ( no offense ). I perhaps more than others know how difficult it can be to deliver good visual organization. This is very disappointing.

I love the new editor. It’s easier to parse long workflows vertically versus horizontally, and you don’t have to worry about the property editor hovering over some of the workflow steps anymore.

More importantly, this lays the groundwork for loops and branches, the stuff that will be REAL game-changers.

Just curious, how many ~ workflows do you have in your app?

True, but that’s years away if ever…

I work on apps of all sizes. Some of them have hundreds of workflows. Folders and searching are essential. Also the new Triggers list in the top-right corner of the Workflow editor is super nice.

The folders and searching have been available much before this version

I like the new WF deal.

Please FIX this though…

On my small laptop. Surface go, which I use a lot.

The scroll up and down bar is UNUSABLE as the WF elements are too close to the scroll bar.

So, It will not let me scroll up and down the workflows. I have to search and find each of them.

Driving me crazy.

Besides that, I think it is much better.

I cannot copy/paste my WF and have it in same folder as it was before. We do a lot of maintenance work and now it’s nearly impossible to do fast. U spend 5-10 minutes.

новый редактор Workflow говно полное, верните старый.

True, but I think the folders were quite hidden before. In my experience, many devs didn’t use them. Now they are front and center and have drag/drop.

This should be the final design. I prefer Bubbling left-to-right, I am using Javascript to get this view. Makes Bubbling easier.

I’m not sure I agree. I do prefer the horizontal workflows to the vertical, but prefer being able to navigate between workflows quickly more. My biggest issue with the new UI has not been the workflow editor, but the workflow navigation pane. I can get used to vertical editing, and over time I may come to find it even makes more sense. What I’m not sure I can get used to having to scroll back and forth every time I want to compare workflows.

I’ve been able to make the experience better (but still not good) by expanding the navigator pane all the way to the right. In this circumstance, vertical makes way more sense. imo this should be the default for the new UI, it wastes way less screen space. Ideally we could even move it further to the right.

I don’t disapprove of AN update, even one in a similar(ish) style, I just think THIS update was a worse experience overall.

From experience working daily on large apps, the problems becomes MUCH more noticeable when you have lots of workflows. Working with pages with just a few workflows has been annoying, but ok. Working with pages with 50-100+ workflows (and the backend workflows tab) has been a big headache

Please share a snippet or brief idea of how to achieve. Do you basically paste the script into your browser console?

for those struggling, this extension makes things better with this awful editor
