A client’s brought me a pretty unique use case where returning users are identified and logged in automatically without entering a password. Admittedly unusual but there is a business logic to it and there’s no PII (or any real user data) exposed once logged in.
Originally I thought to do this by assigning a device fingerprint to Bubble’s user ID as part of the login credentials but the Unique Device ID plug-in doesn’t seem to work. From the few articles I’ve read this seems to be a somewhat common practice that be could accomplished by something Google analytics but I’m none the wiser exactly how to make it work. I’m a not a developer so any ELI5 tips would be helpful!
