Hi everyone,
I need some help. Is it possible to track users by their specific IDs using Google Analytics in Bubble? I want to know how much time each user spends on our app, not just general tracking.
Can we link a specific user with their Bubble ID in Google Analytics and see how long, for example, user A and user B spend on the app? This way, we can identify each user by their Bubble ID.
If Google Analytics can’t do this, is there another solution we could use? The goal is to track the time each individual user spends on the app and know exactly who they are by linking their Bubble ID.
Thank you!
Hi there, I hope you are doing well.
I want to ask you, how can I track the time each user spends on my Bubble app and link it to their Bubble ID using Google Analytics. If that’s not possible, what other tools can I use to achieve this?
Thanks,
Mike Taku.
GA does an OK job of it - and yes you can set the GA tracking id, or a dimension, to something that identifies your specific Bubble user. There is a tonne of information on this page - you don’t need to buy the plugin to get some useful information Just think about GDPR etc.
And of course, you could do it in Bubble … just think about WU.
Hey @lindsay_knowcode, thanks for the link! I’ll check it out and let you know if I have any questions. I couldn’t find your link before, so it looks like exactly what I’ve been searching for. I’ll look at all your videos first, and then I’ll decide about paying for your plugin.
Hi @lindsay_knowcode, does your plugin work for multiple page apps too? The name suggests it’s for single page apps, but I think it should work for both.
It does work for multiple-page apps. By default that is how GA processes (“thinks”) so no special plugins are required for a general multi-page app. (plugins are only useful for extra features, all the inbuilt events, multiple GA measurement IDs, cookie control etc etc etc etc …
