I’m trying to make a privacy rule for:
When "current user’s things:filtered contains … "
However it appears I’m not able to add the :filtered operator in a privacy rules condition. Is there a reason for why operators like :filtered aren’t available? Am i doing something wrong that’s causing it to not appear? What is best practice for getting around this?
They’re just not. Privacy rules are very limited. You also can’t use expressions such as x’s y’s
Restructure your DB schema.
Rule of thumb: When designing your bubble DB, you should always keep the privacy rules in mind so that you won’t need to restructure when you launch your app
