Privacy Rules - Stopped working

Today I experienced an issue where privacy rules stopped working. Instead of following the rules, all fields were apparently blocked. This caused my page to behave incorrectly.

To remedy the situation, I removed the privacy rule, deployed, then recreated the same rule. Deployed again, then the situation resolved.

Any thoughts on if this is a bug, a browser issue or something else?

Are you sure you was just not logged out?

Could be a cache issue… but I’Ve never faced this problem. Hard to know if this is a bug…

I’ve discovered privacy rules are evaluated only once upon page load. Therein my issue.
