Problem with domain zone with OVH

Hi everyone,

I have a problem setting up my A records in the DNS Zone. I am using OVH.

I’ve been able to add all A records that Bubble was asking me to add. But when I click on “check my settings”, Bubble says that there is one A record that is missing.

This A record doesn’t appear in the list above.

So what I did is that I also added this A record (starting by 213…) in my DNS Zones. But after few days the error message still appears in Bubble.

it has been many days now and I don’t know what to do more. Everything seems to be set up properly.

What are all the DNS records Bubble is asking you to add?

These are the ones propagated and I don’t recall the 213 one to be a Bubble IP?

Actually, I take that back, it https://soundmates.fr/ loads for me?

I actually a little hack I always use is just point one CNAME record at the root to app.bubble.io and a CNAME record at www to app.bubble.io and it covers all the needed records and works

But 213.186.33.5 is the not found by Bubble.

There is actually a problem for people who wants to join the domain when they use their mobile. In France.

I don’t know if it’s related…

I would like to fix this so I can set up my e-mail.

I’m not too familiar with OVH, but:

It says to remove the A record 213.186.33.5

Oh ok. I removed it then. I will wait to see if it works.
Regarding the CNAME, i’m not sure but does it ask me to remove everything, and then put the CNAME and then put again all DNS records ?

Possibly, but I would just try removing that one IP first and see if that fixes the issue.

Have you also considered moving your domain to Cloudflare? I find it’s DNS management so much easier and faster to work with
