That was my first thought as well, but it simply doesn’t behave accordingly. The Deploy button on the slide-out panel does still work that way (see screenshot below) - i.e. it’s disabled when there have been no changes since the last deploy and enabled as soon as a change is made in the editor. The new Deploy button just doesn’t follow that same logic. In fact, I can’t discern any logic to it at all.
I thought maybe the issue checker had something to do with it, but it’s the same behavior whether the issue checker is enabled or not - i.e. predictably unpredictable.
I love it. I think Bubble could also add an option to schedule the publishing of changes. For example, we could make as many modifications as we want, and when clicking to publish, we’d have the option to choose a future date and time for the publication.
Hi! Zoom shortcuts work when the canvas is selected. If you’re still experiencing issues, let us know! Also, stay tuned—we’re working on improvements to the design canvas, including enhanced zoom functionality.
FWIW, this issue appears to have been addressed…sort of. The button is now always visible and its enabled state mimics that of the button on the slide-out panel EXCEPT immediately after a deploy. After a deploy, it remains enabled until the page is refreshed. (Same with other browser tabs for the same app.)
Hi everyone, thank you for all the feedback and commentary! We’ve addressed many of the comments shared here, so I hope you’ve noticed that in your day to day building We will move forward with increasing the rollout to 75% of users before we take it to 100% soon! A single icon library used across the whole Bubble builder, woah! Not to get too crazy, but maybe next we could standardize the hearer buttons style between side tabs (data has shaded selectors while the rest have underlined)?
In all seriousness, nice job; appreciate the cleanup!
