Pushed off one-time-payment plugin license to monthly

Hi all, today I was force-unsubscribed from the one-time license I bought for a plugin. I’m not happy with the situation and am seeking resolution from Bubble, which is why I haven’t named the plugin or developer.

Plugins always represent a risk as you’re outsourcing your code to someone else and their maintenance and development. But they’re a shortcut to much better products, so it’s a tradeoff. What I don’t expect is for the app to stop working , and for Bubble developers to shamelessly fail to honor contracts.

Is this usual in the Bubble ecosystem, or have I got a rare bad apple?

Hi @findhealth,

I’m not sure that plugin developers can force you off a one-time license to a monthly license. Have you reached out to Bubble support regarding this issue?

Email support@bubble.io or use the chatbot at Bubble Support Center

Bubble support told me to sort it out with the developer!

(unbelievable)

I confirm this feature doesn’t exist.
