Two things, I can’t figure out and can’t find a video or post on.
I cannot seem to be able to add the total of the cart and the shipping together for a grand total, nothing I am inputting in dynamic data seems to work.
I am not going to use this often and will keep it hidden except for a certain user type, but how can I also add the sales tax line. I can see once I have an actual total of both of those in the top question, it’s just a matter of taking that total and multiplying by the tax rate. I just can’t seem to find what goes into the dynamic data line to make that happen?
If you don’t really need to use it in other places, yeah, you can change them as inputs and pull from those values if you want. Most of the time, I end up just saving it into the database, but for your use case, maybe it’s fine with inputs.
I was going to give that a try as all the explainer videos are from an input perspective. (especially on the multiply part) I would just make the input invisible and unclickable.
Just was not sure that’s the way I should be going about it and if there was an easier way.
The only thing from there on is the order, transaction so I just need the total to be right for the database section.
I will give the input a try and see if I can make that work.
