What is the exact main difference between transfer and payout in stripe.
-
Transfer is an amount transaction which remain in stripe seller account in rolling basis and then transferred to the bank, which mean a split for submitting a charge source.
-
Payout is directly transfer to the bank account but without a source.
Am i right? if so, then can we have also a charge source parameter for submitting and to step on the fee of transfer?
A transfer is just the movement of funds from the platform account to the seller’s account (or vice-versa).
A payout is exactly what it sounds like - a payout of available funds from a Stripe account to a connected bank account.
if so, then can we have also a charge source parameter for submitting and to step on the fee of transfer?
Can you clarify this question? (I don’t understand what you’re asking)…
Just forget it, I though there could be an option to not use the transfer action. this means without a transfer there is no trace on the charge ID if paid out or not from consumers, payout is just a funds from a seller and not a charge source. Thank u any way
