How is it going with those who tried other platforms? Any feedback yet? How is flutterflow, wappler, noodl?
I would take a look at Bildr. Not sure how I’ve passed up on it for so long but there really isnt anything you cant do and they add new features pretty much every week.
If you are planning to move out of Bubble regardless of the price issue,
I hope you will pay attention to
• Next tool learning curve
• Supporting from the owner for the tool
• How long it has been in marketing and how many current users are using it.
• There is a large community and third-party support for it.
• The cost of transferring from a bubble
• With large scale of the users how you can guarantee of the performance
Someone recently posted that they had a Telegram group with a group of Bubblers who had a meeting with the CEO of FlutterFlow, but that seems to be gone… But if anyone can send me that link, that would be great.
Thanks @eli Which of these would you use if HIPAA was a requirement? I intend to use xano for backend, so just talking front end really
It is worth being aware of the latest tools to accelerate lower-code development - like Replit Ghostwriter. These give incredible acceleration and support a lot of quality too.
Hi there, how are you doing now? Checking updates for this one.
Hi, I’m stand-by as I’m now running interviews to hire a full stack developer and rebuild everything in a way that can be investors- friendly.
Hi @gianluca1 Are you interviewing for full stack nocode or full stack code developers?
The latter. I will rebuild my app in yes-code.
For my part, I am slowly starting to learn about noodl with Xano (I already use it with bubble).
I just saw this: Open Source
Have a good day
My choices right now are between :
Front end :
- Plasmic.app
- illacloud.com
- Wappler
- Noodl.net
As for backend :
- Or i’m hosting it myself… (with Appwrite.com for easy management)
- Or Altogic.com (xano on steroids)
Looking good, thanks bubble, can’t wait to leave.
How did you went from $150 to $29? Using Make,n8n? or Xano?
The opposite, with the new plans my projected WU would would be 1m per month which would end up being well more than 150$.
I managed to switch parts of the workflows to n8n so I can stay within the limit and now I pay around 50% more with the new plans to bubble
I’m new to Bubbles and have been building my first app in it. But I’ve also been using Webflow to build the same app.
I’ve accomplished a lot with Bubbler within a short period of time - especially with the availability of plugins galore, but Webflow seems fairly intuitive for someone who’s done VB, .Net, javascript, html, and CSS coding. And supposedly you can design for all the different platforms (iOS, Android, Windows) and deploy to the App stores. And their lowest subscription plan is less $ than Bubble.
I’m going to continue to play with both platforms, but I like the idea of having a tool that i can create for all of the different OSs, hardware, and app stores.
I think the end reseult of both bubble and webflow is a web app, nothing mobile/desktop native. You can wrap it in a webview, but it will be the same process with both.
Don’t know - there ad’s suggest native for mobile and stores. Will see.
Hey, im not a programmer but i abbandoned webflow because i was tryin to add a button and a funtion and could do it, seemed to me back then webflow was only for frontend and the export the html code to your server. I think i was wrong.
How does webflow works? does it host your pages in their cloud? do you need to connect the fron end to and external backend? or you simply export to code and host it whereveryou want?
They went from charging for gas, to charging for every time you open the door handle, press the radio buttons, hit the brakes and indicate.
