Reorder Groups/Add new Group between 2 Elements

Hi,

I am very surprised that I don’t see any possibility to insert new elements between two existing ones in the layout or to reorder existing elements (groups) in the layout.

If I have, say 3 areas and now I want to add a new area in the form of a group or something like that between group 1 and group 2, I have to drag the whole page bigger, select element 2 and 3 and drag them down and only then have space to insert a new element in between.

Isn’t there an easy way to insert new groups directly between two existing ones and have them automatically slide down?

When working with an existing page that is a bit longer, adding new areas turns out to be quite tedious.

I am grateful for any tips.

Great question! At the moment, inserting new groups does not automatically slide down existing groups. However, our new responsive engine [beta] (https://manual.bubble.io/help-guides/responsive-engine-beta) allows you to more easily reorder elements/groups on a responsive page. I’d like to note that the new responsive engine fundamentally changes the way responsive pages are built on Bubble and does require some getting used to, so upgrading an existing page may trigger changes in your page’s layout that would not have occurred otherwise.

I apologize for the limited action I am able to take here - I hope this helps! If you have any other questions feel free to email us at [email protected] and we’d be happy to assist.

Thank you for your answer.
It would be a huge benefit if you could realize a solution for groups like eg in https://elementor.com/.
Reordering groups or change the height of existings groups between other groups is very complex in bubble.
