The debugger shows that I properly inputted a list of text into the repeating group, but the individual texts are not shown on separate rows. I don’t understand why.

The image you’ve shared doesn’t show anything about what you’ve put in your repeating group…
But it does show what you’ve put in your text element… which is exactly what it’s displaying .
I’m guessing you actually want the text element to display some text field from the current cell’s data…
In which case you need to set the text to display just that (i.e. current cell’s thing’s text field)
