Just wanted to draw some awareness on an issue that happened with me a few minutes ago.
I just tried to create a reusable element from a group a few minutes ago and it did something really unexpected and weird.
It started the creation (without picking a clone in the popup) and kickstarted the loading animation but then it directed me back to the Index page instead of the newly created reusable.
Okay, I thought might be just a glitch… Then I had issues finding the newly created reusable in my list. It just wasn’t there.
I’ve restarted my browser, then I saw the reusable I just created.
I then started clearing out the issues that appeared in creation but strangely I saw 8 issues linked with a ghost element that is placed to the Index page.
Then I started pressing the “back” button but no matter how many times I’ve tried (about 20), the issues on the Index page didn’t seem to clear out.
Then I went forward with the “redo” button as many times it let me, and at that time, I wasn’t able to locate the previously created reusable anymore.
So at that point, I’ve just ran an app optimisation process but it only had a couple of things to optimise for, since I’ve run it a few days ago.
Anyhow, what I did is I just deleted these phantom workflows from the Index page and re-started the reusable generation once again.
Now it seems to be working as expected, but I have no idea about the damage that the broken workflow might have caused or any junk that it might left behind.
Any thoughts?
