Project Overview

I am seeking an experienced Bubble.io developer (or small team) to build a web application concept which I intend to quickly publish. The aim is to roll this out in tranches, so this will be a continuous partnership. Will share full details once a developer has been selected.

SCOPE OF WORK (Phase 1)

The selected developer will be responsible for:

1. Application Development

  • Build front-end pages for 3 user types

  • Implement role-based dashboards, data displays, verification flows, and subscription access

  • Configure reusable components (headers, footers, modals, tables, and forms)

2. API Integrations

  • Open Banking: TrueLayer or Plaid

  • Stripe subscription + payments

3. Authentication & Security

  • User onboarding

  • OAuth for Open Banking connections

  • Secure handling of access tokens and account IDs

  • Privacy-by-design best practices for user data

4. Testing & Deployment

  • End-to-end workflow testing

  • Ensure responsive UI across mobile and desktop

  • Prepare the app for production environment

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Applicants must have:

  • Strong Bubble.io development experience (1+ year preferred)

  • Expertise with API Connector

  • Mandatory: Demonstrated experience with OAuth2 integrations (Open Banking strongly preferred)

  • Experience with scheduled/recursive backend workflows

  • Experience creating scalable database designs in Bubble

  • Familiarity with Stripe subscription setups

  • Understanding of security best practices for personal data

  • Experience building scoring algorithms

PROPOSAL REQUIREMENTS

Please include:

  1. Portfolio of Bubble.io apps (especially fintech or API-heavy apps)

  2. Relevant experience with OAuth and financial API integrations

  3. Timeline for MVP completion

  4. Estimated cost (fixed or hourly + projected hours)

  5. Your development process (iterations, communication, testing)

  1. Timeline would have to be discussed once more details are revealed. A call helps.
  2. Development process, we work on a week-by-week basis. We schedule weekly meetings at a minimum to make sure we are working in the right direction and to communicate any suggestions to save on the budget. We use email, slack, Zoom and other communications based on your preferences.
