Run as user not working

Is it just me or is Run as User not working?
I noticed that the problem cropped up in June this year as well.

Yes not working for me at all. Hopefully will be fixed asap.
Hard to believe a major bug like this gets past the QA testers.

The issue as I understand it is just local to the Chrome browser. If you need to use that feature urgently, use Safari or Firefox

Same here. It’s not working in Chrome or Edge but it’s working fine in Firefox. I think Chrome and Edge run on Blink while Firefox uses Gekko and Safari uses Webkit so an update in Blink might be the problem perhaps.
