Send real postcards with Bubble ✨

Hey Bubble!

I’ve build an app that can send real postcards as easy as updating your social media!

https://bird.cards

It’s also on Product Hunt today

Let me know what you think!

Click Send has a great api for all physical mail applications.

Sigh. Of course @eddy is using some commodity API to do this. But it’s a nice looking app, well executed in Bubble, a clever (though not unique) idea, and illustrates quite well how one might add similar features to one’s own app as a value add… I’d call it inspirational. Also, good domain name!

(As for whether it’s Product Hunt-able, reaction there will likely be “meh”, but PH is basically by-makers-for-makers. The PH version of this app would be an API that allows you to add the ability to send custom real-world postcards to your app, but at a negative cost — you get paid for every postcard you order. Whaddyagonnado, right?)

Anyway, nice, creative work, @eddy. Keep up the hustle!

Haha yes I’m not printing and sending them myself :joy:!

Anyway thanks for the nice words @Keith! Indeed not something for PH maybe. I build this mostly for myself to have an easier way to send cards & to get more experienced in building on Bubble. And who knows this might turn into something in the future

Thanks @richard2, for now it only works with one image at a time. Currently building more templates that can hold more images at a time

Uploader should give you an error though…

Hey this is pretty nice. Maybe add an option to see a preview of the card?

I’m curious as to what technique you used to get the page to 100vh.

Thanks @marcuslate will take it in consideration for sure!

What do you mean with “100vh” ?

100% view height. So that it takes up 100% of the page. Or perhaps you used a different technique?

Aah ok… For desktop I used floating groups to keep everything in position and for mobile only the top and bottom groups are floating if that’s what you mean

Thanks

This sounds like an incredibly convenient service! Being able to send personalized letters with just a few clicks could save a lot of time and effort. I’m intrigued by the idea of being able to streamline the process of sending physical mail. A free trial would be a great way to see how it works firsthand. Thanks for sharing this resource!
