SendGrid Email Open Rates

Hi All,

I’m working on an app that sends out emails via SendGrid. I would like to get the number of unique opens a specific email has received and store it to a record in my database. Does anyone know if this is possible? Maybe via the sendgrid API?

I’ve also thought about using a tracking pixel in the email but not show how I would even do that.

Not sure why SendGrid doesn’t show their API documentation in public, strange, but I know that I can see that data in SendGrid for my account. So I would assume they do provide it in an API call as well. I would check with them to confirm.
