Slow and freezing editor after AIM launch, please roll back

After Bubble launched the new app interface manager, building large apps is a nightmare. Opening the AIM takes at least 5 seconds, adding App Text takes 15 seconds just to open the dropdown, but the biggest issue: The editor keeps freezing, and I need to reopen it in a new tab every 5-10 minutes. Been trying every browser I can think of, and the issues are the same across the board.

I’m on a Macbook Pro with M3 and 48GB memory, but it feels like a Macbook Air with 8GB. I realize that these are issues that likely are limited to larger apps. We’ve got around 400 pages and reusable elements, organized in many folders, and around 10k App Text. Didn’t experience any of these issues before the new AIM launch last week.

Anyone else experiencing these issues with large apps? Please, Bubble, roll back or add the new AIM as a beta as you did with the new workflow editor :folded_hands:t3:

Yes, even not-so-large apps. I have reported the issue. I think that’s the best that can be done at this point.

I would recommend you submit bug reports with this behavior. It helps the team triage the issues

Was put on to using Firefox Developer Edition by someone on here the other day and it is an absolute game changer, multiple tabs, decent sized app, no crashes, no freezing or weird behaviours. Working with Bubble was literally unbearable and unuseable in any other browser for weeks, but I can finally get some actual work done now, which will tide me over until I find an alternative or Bubble gets its shit together, whichever comes first.
