(SOLVED) Adjusting a left floating menu to the full length of a page

Hello Bubblers, I am new to Bubble and still a little bit confused on how to design pages with clean UX with the tool.

I am trying to build a left floating menu on my page, but for some reason, when I do, I cannot extend the main content group of my page to the full length of the page : cf :

When I extend my group to the full length of the page, my left menu shrinks… : cf

Any idea of what could be causing this problem ?

Ensure your floating left menu is the entire height of the page and set the vertical float relative to both.
