[SOLVED] How can I make the text placeholder for a date input type?

How can I make the text placeholder for a date input type?
Example: I’d like my input to say “Date of birth?” however, when you click on it is a date-only input.
Can anyone help?

(by the way, it allows me to, however creates an “issue” which will prevent me from being able to deploy)

Yes, that’s obvious, I’m not a noob. However, when you do that it creates an “issue” in the bug report which prohibits me from deploying the app. It says “date placeholder must be a date”

Haha, ok let’s see. I’m not getting that error with that exact setup, so try refreshing your editor or replacing it with a new input element.

I dont understand… :frowning:

Make sure there are no spaces in the “Initial content” field. Placehoder is not the same thing and won’t trigger this message.

Yep! @DiscipleGeek is right. It’s the Initial Content field, not placeholder, and it looks like you may have a space there.

Fixed! Thanks guys!!
