Sharing a few ideas that could help a lot of us building bigger apps on Bubble.
First idea
Expose workload usage directly inside workflows.
Today we can see the usage per action in the logs and in the usage chart, but it is not usable inside the app itself.
It would be super useful to access the workload used by a workflow run and by each action as a dynamic value.
That way we could store and track workload per client, per feature, per subscription plan, instead of only having a global view in the logs.
Second idea
Improve the server logs.
When an app has a lot of traffic and many backend workflows, the logs become very hard to use for debugging. There are too many entries, the filters are very limited, and finding one specific error or workflow run is painful.
Better filters, search and grouping would make debugging backend logic much easier on serious apps.
Third idea
More flexibility in the Data tab. Data types and fields are always sorted alphabetically and we cannot move anything around. Being able to reorder or group them would make large databases way easier to manage.
Nothing crazy here but these small improvements would make daily work smoother for a lot of builders. It’s almost Christmas so maybe Santa will hear me
