@emmanuel Did you guys change how private image permissions work recently?
I’ve been attaching images to my records for months. Just recently the images are not visible.
If my PictureUploader is set to attach the image to the current user then the image isn’t even visible in the PictureUploader when the user uploads it and the picture continues to be un-viewable after it’s uploaded.
I even pulled all of the permissions off of the table images are stored in and the only way to view images in PictureUploader and/or the app is to uncheck “make this file private”
I made a page with two PictureUploaders. The first has “make this file private” checked and the second doesn’t have that checked. If you try to load an image into both of them you’ll see that something’s wrong with the first PictureUploader that has “make this file private” checked.

Can you submit a bug report for this?
Seeing same behavior. app id slopt.
I’m having a similar problem. I’m trying to make a file sharing system through the Box plugin. The files are uploading to Box just fine, but the file doesn’t appear when I use the File Uploader’s value within my app. When I copy and paste the link that the File Uploader generates into my browser, it gives me this message:
{“statusCode”:401,“body”:“Sorry, you do not have permission to modify this file”}
Am I having the same problem? Was it ever resolved? Thanks for your help.
Support told me the problem was fixed, but that it caused upload errors, so any data users tried to upload during the problem are unrecoverable.
Hello!
How about this bug, can we solve that already. I am using Box Plugin and i got the same problem with this one. I can not download the file from direct URL. Can you help me?
Thank you!
Hey @emmanuel any update yet?
I’m trying to use it in a similar way as @blueback09 did. When I’m trying to upload it via PictureUpload A it shows this error.
