SSL and Security on the Personal Plan?

Hey everybody,

I’m currently on the personal plan and when I deploy my app to live, I noticed that it says not secure (screenshots attached).

Do you know how I can fix this? Just from my research here, it says that bubble pricing for personal has SSL?

If there’s any directions/resources associated, would appreciate it!

Cheers

Hi Kaito, did you solve this issue or get a reply? I have the same issue. I am on a personal plan, just deployed to live, and when viewed in Chrome it is flagged as Not Secure.

This may happen if your site uses any resource (say an image or another file) that’s linked by http instead of https

Do you have the enable SSL box checked?

Check out this documentation.

https://manual.bubble.io/application-settings/custom-domain-ssl

Hey Johnny, thanks for the documentation. I just published my site live and changed over the domains, but Bubble is not showing the box to check for SSL. does it take an hour for that box to propagate post successful domain setup with Bubble?

Hey @michaelnovotny,

What options does it give you? I know that these displays can change from time to time

It does not give any options but now it looks like it is working. I guess it automatically applies and it takes about 1-2 hours to propogate. The issue seems to be resolved now.

I think that if there was language there explaining it would have been helpful.

I am having the same issue, but the Check box has still not appeared after 72 hours.

The check box won’t appear if you accelerate your domain with Cloudflare. It should just automatically be applied assuming you setup all the DNS records up correctly.

Thank you Johnny, it looks like I have Cloudflare on it, I’ll try to disable Cloudflare… Somehow…
