Hello everyone,
I have just realised that Stripe has changed their fees for the Connected accounts.
Now theres no fixed fees for Connect types ( Express, Custom).
Apparently the fees will depend on many other factors such as direct charges, who pays Stripe fees, the stripe Dashboard etc.
I am soooo confused. If someone got their head round it, Please, Please explain to me whats on.
note: I have been using Express API calls for onboarding, dashboard etc. Now Express accounts wont pay stripe fees and my platform will.

Yeah did. So now basically types are not veey important. If you set the type while creating the account it will still work and it will be set to these settings.
(Controles for each type)
Action. Standard. |Express| Custom
1.Paying
processing Fees. Account | platform | platform
-
Diputes. Stripe | platform | platform
-
Dashboard. Full. | express. | none
Instead, when making the api call, you can ignore the “type” field and use parameter (controller instead to identfy each of the above controls)
If your mix and match matches exagtly one of the above your account will be sat to one of the 3 popular types. However, if your mixing doesn match any of them your account type will be set to (none) and u will be charged depending of the controls ( e.g direct charge or destination charges)
