Tell me your thoughts on this.. Post your Website

I’ve posted here about this app before but wanting to reshare as it’s gone through a few changes. The site has had a refresh looking spiffy, Thanks Thimo!

The idea is simple, Im describing it as YouTube but for Websites, Your website.
I love the concept of YouTube, Ability to follow the creators you love and find stuff you wouldnt normally search for all in one place. Now why not with websites?

Create an account and start posting your content, posts/ecommerce products… whatever really.
Get users across to your actual website using Blogable.

Free traffic really and a way to have a constant following and flow of traffic. You can display ads on your posts and get users to tip you to earn some extra cash aswell.

I don’t understand what it is. So a user goes onto your website and searches “Kittens”, then what? Can you elaborate more? It gives off a Reddit vibe.

slightly, basically i wanted a way to share my own websites with people.

I run a blog, I post my blog posts to blogable to gain a new audience and traffic to my actual site.

I’m trying to get my head around it and I’ve spent half an hour on your website and if I’m okay to give my opinion…

I think you’re way off with saying it’s a YouTube for websites unless I’m missing something. You’re a Reddit alternative. Reddit is a community driven content aggregation, web content rating, and discussion website. Registered members submit content to the site such as links, text posts, and images and other content which are then voted up or down by other members. You can also be redirected to websites, to view more content and they also include blogs. You also have the ability to subscribe.

I think they lack the “tip” feature but you’re certainly not a YouTube for websites, you’re a Reddit alternative.

Either way I can see potential for sure, look forward to watching your progress.

It’s ok as a concept. But it appears to offer no more than what a search engine does at the end of the day.

If it was about the UX/UI design of the websites, then I can see more appeal. And there’s only a few UX/UI showcasing sites out there. Such as Dribbble.com
