Tracking activity time in bubble editor

Hi,
I have been working on a project for a customer and my computer crashed and I lost of bunch of unsaved data in my hour logs (I know I should be using google sheets or something with better save functionality but here I am learning my “don’t be lazy” lesson the hard way).

Is there a way through the bubble logs to pull all the time I spent in the editor?
Thanks,
Paul

Hi there, @paul29… unfortunately, you can’t get any sort of metrics about time spent working on an app from within the editor, and that idea has already been added to the ideaboard, if you want to upvote it.

Best…
Mike

Thanks for the answer. Although it’s not what I was hoping for, appreciate the info.

This might help in the future: Webtime Tracker - Chrome Web Store

You could look at your browsing history too for a rough idea? Or history.google.com if you have Google tracking you

I like this. Thanks.

Could this be used to track collaborator activity times as well? It looks like it’s just for your own uptime but wanted to ask just in case.

Seems like it’s just for your browser’s time-per-website, not integrated with Bubble collaborators or anything. Haven’t used it I just googled website time tracking extensions

Cool. Thanks for your help. I clearly could have googled that myself. Sorry for making you do my work for me.

Make a free Bubble app for your devs to clock in and out

Lol yah. Except that’s not much different than the current honor system they are already on.

I have often thought that someone who is smarter than me (which, admittedly, is a pretty low bar) should make a plugin or a browser extension that automatically tracks the time spent working in an app, whatever that would mean. I refuse to believe it wouldn’t be possible, but it’s beyond my abilities for sure.

I just realized unless that time tracking extension saves to some account your computer crashing would still probably lose those logs too…

Yah. I think a custom extension is required here.
