Transform controls dissappeared

Hi,

This might be a very stupid question, but I can’t seem to figure out the answer. I just downloaded a template and I can’t resize any of the elements with the usual transform controls. When I select an element, they don’t appear (see images). When I open a new app/project (not the template) they do appear.

I assume its because the template is in responsive mode? Which is ideal Resize with the responsive parameters
