About AudioHouse:
AudioHouse is a growing network of self-serve recording studios where anyone can record their podcast, song or audiobook without any previous experience or buying their own equipment. Customers book, enter, and record entirely through our custom-built Bubble.io app — no staff required. We’ve built a system for booking, project management, and customer interaction, but now we’re looking to level up the design and user experience.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking an experienced Bubble.io developer with a strong emphasis on UI/UX design — someone who can consistently deliver intuitive, accessible, and polished interfaces that match our mission: easy, accessible, and reliable studio access for everyday creators.
This is a freelance position ideal for someone who wants a long-term but flexible relationship, with a series of one-off projects over time. We’re an investor backed startup, with room for more committed opportunities if we find the right fit.
Example Projects You Might Work On:
- Redesigning our Session Booking flow to improve clarity and increase conversions
- Creating a cohesive, professional style guide and component system across the entire app
- Improving mobile responsiveness and accessibility for non-technical users
- Designing in-app guidance features for our Reaper templates or automation tools
- Refreshing the studio kiosk interface for better walk-up clarity
Must-Haves:
- Advanced experience with Bubble.io
- Strong UI/UX portfolio — especially web apps or platforms used by non-technical users
- Strong ability to create and adhere to reusable styles and component libraries
- Clear, proactive communicator who can work async and manage scope for small projects
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with audio apps
- Understanding of user psychology and conversion flows
- Comfort integrating with APIs and writing scripts (AHK, lua, powershell)

- We communicate via Discord
- Projects are scoped clearly in advance and paid per project or hourly depending on complexity
- Human-centric design with strict adherence to customer research and validation
- You’ll work directly with one of the founders (Me, a Bubble developer and Product Manager), who values complete integrity, transparency, and high expectations.
