Update: Supabase Pro Kit Plugin

Hi everyone, :raised_hands:

We’re happy to share an update to the Supabase Pro Kit Plugin for Bubble.
Version 2.11.0 is now live and brings a security/compatibility improvement plus a small helper utility.

:closed_lock_with_key: What’s new

Publishable Key (new API key field)

  • Add your Publishable Key in the plugin settings for client-side operations.
  • Keep privileged actions on the server using your Service Role key as needed.

apiKeys utility (new)

  • Automatically selects which keys to use based on context.
  • Priority handling: new keys → old keys (falls back when needed).
  • Built-in key validation.
  • Maintains backward compatibility with older keys.

Please review the updated docs for where to place the new key and how the utility works:

If you’re upgrading, you may need to add the Publishable Key and recheck any client-side calls to ensure they use the correct key via the new utility.

Great update! Do you have any plans to add support for Mobile Native, or to release a dedicated plugin for that?

the “Supabase Pro Kit” plugin is (still) not working on bubble test version/editor since yesterday.
