User Error - "User doesn't have permission to edit this document" when uploading in plugin editor

Description:
I’m getting the following error when trying to upload a file in the plugin editor:

User Error - User doesn't have permission to edit this document

How to replicate:

  1. Create a new plugin
  2. Go to the Shared tab
  3. Scroll down to Shared assets and resources
  4. Click on Upload and select any file
  5. You’ll immediately see the error

I’m adding a video to show the exact steps.

Solutions tried:

  • Cleared browser cache
  • Logged out and back in
  • Logged out from all other devices

None of these steps resolved the issue.

Expected behavior:
I should be able to upload shared assets without permission issues.

Even cannot add Plugin Icon

Just heard back from Bubble Support—they’ve confirmed this behavior and said that their engineering team is investigating it.

same here. cannot add a logo and therefore cannot publish a new plugin…
