Hi @nick.carroll i reported this to support already but today users all of a sudden are reporting this alert randomly which is making them log back in, has something changed?
This is a frustrating issue for users. A few things that could cause session expiration alerts:
First, check if you recently made any changes to your app settings, particularly around user authentication or privacy rules. Sometimes changes to these settings can invalidate existing sessions.
Second, if you are using the Bubble Native app builder, there could be something related to how the native app handles tokens compared to the web version. Session tokens in native apps can sometimes be more sensitive to network changes or app backgrounding.
Third, this could be related to server-side changes on Bubble’s infrastructure. Since this started happening suddenly for multiple users, it might be worth checking if Bubble announced any updates or if there are known issues.
Some things to try:
- Ask affected users if they were switching between wifi and mobile data, as network changes can sometimes trigger session issues
- Check your app logs in the Bubble editor to see if there are any patterns
- Try logging out and back in on a test device to see if the issue persists
Since you already reported to support, they should be able to tell you if this is a platform-wide issue or specific to your app. Keep an eye on any responses from the Bubble team.
