Hello,
I am quite new to the platform and are working on a booking app. Among others, my Booking Thing has the fields start_date & end_date.
My challenge is, that whenever a new Booking is created, I would like to validate, if there is already a booking in the Bubble datastore, which falls into the same period. And then I won’t allow to create the new booking.
Can anybody help?

You could try using the ‘‘Do when condition is true’’ workflow to compare (inside “only when”) the start dates that are in the database with the new start dates that are being added.
You could display the available periods clickable and the taken periods non-clickable. That way you don’t have to validate with the database. Your UX already contains the available spots.
