Value "from" on native confirmation e-mail

Just a created a new app, from another one I had and used it as template.

Now, on this new app, everytime a user subscribe, they get the name of the template in the Sender fieldd of the confirmation e-mail. I have looked everywhere, can’t find where I change that.

Can someone enlighten me, please?

Hi @avisoswecare,

A few things to check:

  1. Under your app settings > Email/Domain check the from name there

  2. Check the from name behind each “Send Email” action

Thanks for your answer. I’m using Bubbles embedded “Send an email to confirm the email” option, I don’t see a From field there.

My Settings > Email/Domain don’t show this From option, either.

Thanks again.

So, I have a theory.

The app I used as a template is a paid app. In that app, I have set the From field, under Options >> Domain / email >> Sender name. Then, my new app, which is not paid, inherited the Sender’s name from that app and now, as this new one is not paid, therefore editing the From field is not allowed, I can’t change it to what I want, and I’m stuck with the name of the template.

Has anybody ever had this problem before? How to solve it?

Oh… you’re not on a paid plan. Yep. That would explain it, I’m pretty sure you can’t change the Sender Name if you’re not on the paid plan

One more place you might want to check is under Languages in settings, but I don’t recall a field with sender name under there.

An alternative is to use another email API like Postmark to send your emails vs. the built-in Bubble sendgrid action
