Glad to be new to this community and learn more about this excellent product and service. One question I have is: are users required to build a web app that can convert into a mobile app. Or, can users strictly build a mobile app only (without building a web version)?

Bubble builds web applications. You can then convert the web app into a hybrid app, but it’s still a web app at the core. I’d search for BDK Native, Jasonelle, or “wrapper” and you’ll find some resources to help.
