Weird API Error?

I have a workflow that includes the “schedule an api workflow on a list” , for some reason the API only seems to run the second time i run the workflow.

First time i click the button, does not work.

second time i click it, executes flawlessly.

If i manually trigger each step of the workflow, this also works.

I’ve been trying to figure it out all day, i’m perplexed lol.

Just in case anyone else runs into this, for whatever reason the api wasn’t picking up the data from another element, even if i used the pause action to delay running it. i fixed it by using the schedule a custom workflow and delayed it by a second that way.
