What is the best wrapper for web to mobile apps in your opinion?

I know Bubble recently launched a mobile version. Unfortunately this is absolutely undoable for us, because our app is gigantic and highly intertwined. There’s no option to turn an existing web-app into mobile, which is a huge bummer. Bubble told us we’d have to re-build everything, which would be “better” given mobile is so different… sadly re-building it just to go to mobile would be insane because of the massive amount of work we’ve already done on our existing app, and also, we don’t have time for experimenting and bugs at the moment considering our app has so many different features. So who knows when we’ll ever do that, if ever.

I really wish they had done something for apps like us, who have been on bubble a very long time and built a lot on it. The current solution is inconceivable for us (unless anyone knows how to turn a massive, complex web app into mobile…)

Can anyone recommend a good wrapper service, ideally with your experience? I’m also curious if we’re gonna have to pay each time we want to update it or if once we wrap it the app will maintain itself updated (along with database changes, naturally).

Thanks..

In the past, I use BDK native with success. However, I don’t know if the support is like it was before from @gaurav but before, to get support, you need to use the website chat support.

Go for build natively. BDK tried a few years ago but hardly any response for support and missing lots of features.

Going build natively means that you do not have to rewrite your webapp and you get more features than bubble mobile native.

Seems like a no brainer.

Good luck!

To confirm, you mean this one, right?

Do you also mean the same one sem suggested? Build natively? Or is it another called specifically just Natively?

Also, looks like a fun app!

yes that one!

When you start, take a few hours really to read about basic concepts of RevenueCat plus Build Natively and Bubble. Once you start to see how they are connected you will be able to quickly set it up.

The complexity comes from all the options that Apple and Google offer. It is a complex world but RevenueCat has you covered. As will build natively.

Awesome thank you! It looks nice. Thanks as well for the support reference, that’s always important.

And yeah…… the million things that need to be done  it’s our first time going mobile, so hopefully the process goes smoothly, I’m sure there’s a myriad of things but….. On we go!
