when a user clicks full screen on a youtube video on my site it just ends up stopping the video and refreshing the page
Without a link for others to test you won’t be able to get any help (that’s a general issue).
alright ill make it public when I finish the site thanks
Were you able to figure this out?
I seem to have the same issue - pressing full screen causes the video to stop and it collapses back to the page you were on…
Video on middle of the page at http://impactseeker.com/
I don’t see a video setting that would control this behavior…
Think I figured out it needs to not be set for fixed width then it will expand ok.
“Make this element fixed width” didn’t help.
For me it only work if the browser is also running in full screen mode.
It’s kind of odd actually…
I have one test page with a few elements and it expands ok…
When fixed width is not selected…
In another it doesn’t work, exact same setting but there are more elements on the screen which I suspect are interfering some how…
Here are 2 examples:
-
It works: Loom | Free Screen & Video Recording Software | Loom
-
It doesn’t work: Loom | Free Screen & Video Recording Software | Loom
Both of your links work for me. I just tested on chrome
Odd doesn’t work on mac or windows, chrome, firefox, ie that I’ve tested it on…
yeah I still have this problem it seems like it might be a bubble problem.
@fayewatson came up with a workaround solution on this other thread check it out and see if it meets your needs: FullScreen youtube button behavior
