I’m trying to set up adsense but first I have to verify my ownership of the domain. For this I have to place a tag somewhere… the instructions are:
“To get your site ready to show ads, copy and paste this code between the tags on each page of your site. Learn more about the AdSense code.”
I can’t get it to work I’ve tried:
In the index itself, when you click it, I added it under “Page HTML header” , I pasted it here (it’s a script code thing).
I also went to the settings tab, under SEO/meta tags, where it says “Script/meta tags in header” I also added it.
I also added an HTML element, and I placed it there, but nothing. I let it both visible and not visible on page load.
Has anyone done this before or can anyone please guide me? I don’t think google adsense support may really be able to help… I have analytics set up, and I followed a similar process setting up the google tag which worked fine. I did so by placing an HTML element which is also a script code. However, the same isn’t working for adsense. Am I doing this wrong?
Afaik you must at a Google site verfication.
You can add this to SEO/meta tags in Bubble settings, like this: <meta name="google-site-verification" content="pFKhQV----------------------M" />
I’m afraid that’s what I’ve done but nothing I’m at the adsense website that gives me 3 options of the tag to input into my website (bubble) but nothing. They give you a meta tag, and a script snippet. There’s also an option for txt files but I have no clue what that even means.
Are you trying to do this in a free plan? If so, the headers or meta tags are not active in this plan. However, you can use this plugin HTML Header Plugin | Bubble to test it out. It basically adds whatever you add in the configuration to the HTML header of the overall app. When you are deploying, you actually use the headers or meta tags.
This worked! For some reason when I came back a bit later it was working randomly, perhaps it only took some time to complete the request, though Google made it seem as if it should’ve been immediate. Thanks! Be well.
