Why is there a cap on marketplace pricing?

Bubble’s marketplace TOS states…

If you choose to use any of the Bubble Marketplace licenses listed above, the fee must be set within the applicable range below

I’m having trouble understanding why there’s an upper limit on the price of plugins and templates. If someone develops a fully featured template using powerful plugins, why shouldn’t they be able to charge more than $500 - especially given that they get to keep only 75%?

I realize this question should be directed at Bubble, but I’m wondering if any community members have any input or insights to share.

We did this to avoid abuse and mistakes, especially in the beginning on the marketplace. That’s the kind of things we could see evolving over time, so if people have templates that could go beyond, we’ll have a look.
