Why isn't Google making a Visual Programming Tool?

With bubble showing this is possible, why isn’t the whole world investing millions into this new concept? This is obviously the future off software/web/app development. It ends too many jobs too quickly?

“Google Visual Programming lets you draw your application one time and with the click of a button you’re live on the web and all app stores. All infrastructure is handled by Google and scales automatically!”

They are/have/did: https://developers.google.com/blockly/

There are several companies that build visual programming tools. Bubble’s value is that it abstracts coding in a way that is more than just a visual version of writing code using nodes and wires, like Unreal Engine’s Blueprints system.
