Why isn't my sign-up flow working?

I feel like this should be so simple - I cannot for the life of me get my sign-up form to work properly.

Whenever I try to grab the name field during sign-up, the sign-up action just doesn’t happen. Any idea why? I believe that the name field is pulling up as invalid but I can’t figure out why that would happen if it’s just an input form.

Any idea? I’ve also tried just signing the user up, then making changes to the current user, and that isn’t working either.

What is the content format on the first and lastname inputs?

The input is text and the data field is text

JK, it was a email content format (copy and pasted the email input field). That solved the problem. Thank you!!
