I would suggest using Postmark: SendGrid Giving You Trouble? Use Postmark Instead
It’s more flexible, reliable, and allows you to create a template and pass along whatever parameters you would like, logos, colors, text. These are more for transactional emails like you are requesting.
Mailchimp is more for advertising and campaigns.
