Hello! I am using the zeroqode fuzzy search plugin but I see in the plugin documentation that spanish is not a supported language. However fuzzy search is working fine with my spanish database so my question is: what implications does it have that spanish is not supported? Does it have to do with the autocomplete only? Thanks!

Regarding your question, the note in the documentation that Spanish is not supported likely refers to certain language-specific features that may not be optimized or specifically handled in the plugin, like accented characters or specific language rules for matching terms. However, as you’ve observed, the fuzzy search itself works fine because the core functionality of the plugin is based on letter matching and proximity, which is independent of the language.
So, in short, the lack of Spanish language support shouldn’t affect the autocomplete or the overall fuzzy search performance in your case. The plugin is still performing as expected.
