Can I base privacy rules on child records?

Hi, is it possible to base a records privacy on it’s child records?

So if I had a service user and they were assigned to a service, am I able to show this record to only the workers in that service?

Hi there, @aaronjackson… if I understand your post correctly, it would depend on how the user is assigned to the service. If there is not a direct association between the user and the service, then you would run into this well-known/documented limitation of privacy rules.

It would be connected through a Junction Table, so from the link you provided I think I would hit this limitation.
