Access for developer - collaboration accounts

I am building an app with the help of a developer and I need to give him the access to bubble. I know there’s a collaboration area where I can assign him permission and access.

Question is does this function only come with professional plan and not the personal plan?

If I choose to build the app with personal plan, does it mean the only choice I have is to “share” the one log in with this developer?

That’s correct, you cannot invite collaborators on the lower-tier plans, see bubble.io/pricing, starting with professional you can. However, if the developer you selected has an agency account, it will not count towards your collaboration cap and they can be added to any app tier.
