Adding elements and moving them around in the index page

Hello,

I am a newbie and I have a very very basic problem here. When I select an element and try to add it on the index page, it gets added randomly anywhere on the page, and when I try to click on it and place it where I want it to be, when dropping the element, it goes back to the place where it initialy was. Anyone could help me solve this issue please ?

For example, when dragging this repeating group, it will automatically go back to the top at the left, where it randomly initially appeared.

So you’re using a responsive page layout…

so your elements need to be positioned according to the container layouts, alignment, and margins etc. in the Properties editor… you can’t position elements by dragging them…
